KTM Hi-Rider Custom
At the end of 2015 I was commisioned to produce what I called the KTM Hi Rider for a prominant Italian businessman.
Heres the story of how it came about.
Dean Walters my friend who I kicked around with helped me out with a lot of great photography, he did a small job for a client and got paid with a box of KTM parts, he gave me this box and I made up a bike, anything that was missing I made, it was a rags to riches tale as the bike was one of the most fun we had ever ridden.
We took it everywhere and had a lot of great times.
It was at this time that an Italian saw my post and wanted me to recreate the bike using a 530cc platform, he wanted me to make two kits and ship them off to Italy, I obliged and went to work.
A new subframe and looped exhaust with a custom muffler along with many other upgrades.

With two kits complete it was off to the post office but not before a test fit.
Clear powdercoat gives it the shine and the overall fit an finish is cool, I never rode the 530 but I can imagine it would have been a blast.
